"Begin Our Story"

Tyler Cowen, in the midst of praising Gretchen Rubin's The Happiness Project, also noted a desire for a book called "The Interesting Project."


I’m not the one to write that book, but I find it a noble goal (or challenge) for a blog.  I also find it a less common goal than most assume.  This is not necessarily a criticism.

This blog will consist mostly of aphorisms, short posts and links. Most will be tied in some way to literature, art or writing.

(Cowen's post is months old, but I had to give happiness a shot first. I consider that project a moderate success; now let's see if "interesting" is any easier.)
